Privacy Policy

Crux is an anti-dashboard task manager built to help you focus on one thing at a time. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over your data. We collect as little as we can to run the product — nothing is sold or used for advertising.

• Account information — your email address, and a display name if you choose to set one, handled through our authentication provider (including Google sign-in if you use it).
• Content you create — tasks, notes, workspaces, and related details you add to Crux.
• Usage data — completions, streaks, and focus sessions that power your stats and achievements.

• To operate Crux — surface the right task, compute your stats, and run features you use.
• To provide AI features (Pro) — your task content is sent to our AI provider to estimate complexity and plan your day. It is not used to train models.
• To send account emails and the optional daily digest, only if you enable it.

We share data only with the vendors that help us run Crux:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting.
• Anthropic — AI complexity analysis and day planning for Pro features.
• Resend — account and digest emails.
• LemonSqueezy — subscription payments. We never receive or store your card details.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can export your tasks at any time from Settings, and deleting your account removes your data from Crux.

We use only essential cookies to keep you signed in. Crux has no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data is encrypted in transit, and access is scoped so you can only reach your own records. No method of storage or transmission is ever completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Crux is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy as Crux evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
